Friend, I want to challenge you today to go deeper in your relationship with Christ. As with any relationship, you must invest time. When we begin building a relationship with someone, we ask all kinds of questions. We meet for coffee, share activities, and make sacrifices to get to know the other person's heart and open ours to them.
A spiritual relationship is no different. God's Word is the Bible. It is how he speaks to us. If we are not asking Him questions and digging deep into the Bible, how will he ever answer us? Scripture is alive and active. It literally talks to your heart when you are willing to open up just a little bit more each day. I long for my entire family to hear the Lord speak to them on a daily basis, to be so deep in the love of God that nothing shakes our foundation. And friend, I long for you to know a deeper relationship with Christ too. Today, I challenge you to dig deeper!
