Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God’s Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don’t know how or what to pray, it doesn’t matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good.
Romans 8:26-28
Today I am at a loss of words. I have things on my mind that I can't possibly understand and I don't even have words to pray anymore. I am comforted by these words that Paul gave us. When we don't have words to pray or when we don't even know what we need, The Holy Spirit does! The Spirit intercedes and delivers the much needed prayers on my behalf. And even better, when I am undergoing a difficult circumstance in my life, I need not be afraid because Jesus is sitting at the right hand of God pleading with Him for me (Romans 8:34)! I have the Holy Spirits' guidance in prayer and I have Jesus Christ talking directly to God about my situation. I am loved by Jesus, so much that He prays for me and fights on my behalf! I am filled with peace at this very moment. I can lie in quiet of my room and not utter a word. Amen and Amen
